○「サンクトペテルブルク生まれの天才ギタリスト”Grisha Goryachev氏”紹介」を続けます。 ロシアのサンクトベテルグルク出身のロシア人ながら英文作成された「Grisha Goryachev」氏自身のＨＰの中の「About Grisha」に、同氏の紹介が詳細になされています。前回は冒頭３分の１ほど紹介しましたが、今回、さらに中編の３分の１ほど紹介します。なお、日本文翻訳は私ではありません(^^;)。 ＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊ In 1991, Goryachev was awarded second prize in the Danny Kaye International Childrens Awards held in the Hague, Netherlands. Sponsored by UNICEF, this competition featured participants on all instruments from twenty-six countries. Later that same year, Mr. Goryachev was invited to perform at the UN headquarters in New York City. Directly thereafter, he toured Scandinavia and performed by special invitation for the Royalty of Iceland. In 1993, Mr Goryachev was chosen to represent his native city in the Days of St. Petersburg in Jerusalem Festival, and in 1994 at the invitation of Vladimir Spivakov, he performed at the Festival International de Colmar held in memory of Andres Segovia in Colmar, France 1991年Goryachev氏はオランダ・ハーグで開かれたDanny Kaye International Childrens Awardsで準優勝を受賞しました。このAwardsはユニセフのサポートにより開催され26カ国から様々な楽器奏者が参加しました。また、同年、Goryachev氏はニューヨークの国連に招待され演奏を行いました。その直後、アイスランド国王家の特別な招待を受け、スカンジナビアで演奏を行いました。 1993年、Goryachev氏は、エルサレム・フェスティバルで、サンクトペテルスブルグ時代に出身都市の代表に選ばれました。そして1994年、Goryachev氏は、ウラジーミル・スピワコフの招待により、フランスのコルマルで行われた、アンドレス・セゴビア追悼コルマル・インターナショナル・フェスティバルに出演しました。 Following a tour of Spain, Goryachev was invited to play for flamenco legend, Paco de Lucia, who soon after personally intervened in support of his application for an American visa (subsequently awarded in the year 1997 on the basis of Extraordinary Ability). スペインのツアーの後、Goryachev氏はフラメンコの伝説的奏者Paco de Lucia氏のために演奏しないかと誘われました。すぐに、Paco氏は、Goryachev氏のアメリカのビザ出願をサポートし、同氏とは個人的にも関わりを持つことになりました。その後、Goryachev氏は特別な能力に基づいて1997年にアメリカビザを取得しました。 Since coming to the United States, Mr. Goryachev has continued his lifelong love affair with flamenco while deepening his involvement with the classical style. His repertoire now includes classical solos, chamber music and guitar concertos and more than six hours of flamenco solos by such composers as Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Manolo Sanlucar, Rafael Riqueni, and others. As the flamenco repertoire is for the most part unpublished, Mr. Goryachev has performed the somewhat incredible feat of transcribing entirely by ear from the recordings. アメリカ合衆国に来てから、Goryachev氏は、クラッシク・スタイルに傾向しながら、生涯にわたりフラメンコへ情熱を燃やし続けました。今や彼のレパートリーは、クラッシクソロ、、室内楽、ギター・コンチェルトやパコ・デ・ルシア、ビセンテ・アミーゴ、Manolo Sanlucar、ラファエルRiqueniなどが作曲した6時間以上のフラメンコ・ソロを含みます。このフラメンコのレパートリーは、ほとんど未発表で、Goryachev氏は、これらを、録音を聞いて完全にコピーするという驚くべき芸当により演奏しました。 Grisha strives to keep alive older flamenco masterpieces that now exist only on records, by performing them in concerts. Grisha exposes the audiences to some of the best guitar compositions flamenco has to offer. Instead of merely copying, he creates his own interpretations of these masterpieces, using dynamics and tone colors usually associated with classical music. Goryachev氏は、現在録音だけで存在する古いフラメンコの傑作が消えてしまわないよう、コンサートで演奏し続けています。Goryachev氏は、フラメンコが提供すべき最高のギター作品のいくつかを観衆に届けます。しかも、彼は、単に作品をコピーするだけでなく、多くの場合クラシック音楽を背景にした音の強弱や音色を用いて、これらの傑作の彼の解釈を届けます。 以上：3,098文字
